She was born in Oxford, IN on March 20, 1920, the daughter of the late Ralph and Leona (Maguire) Kennington, and was a graduate of Oxford High School. Her marriage was to Walter L. Killin in Oxford on June 15, 1939, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1993.
Eleanor was a farm wife, but also was employed at the Lafayette Post Office for 28 years, and also substituted at the Pine Village Post Office. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Oxford.
Surviving is one granddaughter; two nieces; four nephews; and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by two sons, David E. and Robert W. Killin; a brother, Harold Kennington; and two sisters, Regina Abbott and Dorothy Nutt.
