Kerry Don Abbott of Bridgeport, Al. born on Jan. 4, 1957 to Grady Don and Shirley Abbott of Bridgeport went home to be with the lord on January 14, 2018.
Kerry is survived by his wife of 26 years Holli Abbott and daughter Hannah Abbott; his Mother Shirley Abbott, his Brother Kevin(Taylor) Abbott, his Sister Kim(Barry)Myers, and a large extended family. He
is preceded in death by his daughter Aleah Abbott, Father Don Abbott,
Brother Kiley Abbott, Grandparents Eursie and Harold Webster and
Joe and Marie Abbott.
Kerry grew up in Bridgeport. He graduated from Bridgeport High School and went on to attend Northeast Alabama Community College. He had a
successful career in welding/pipe-fitting. He was retired from
Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, Tn. Kerry was a loving and devoted
husband, Father,Son, and a good friend many. He will be missed very much.
Visitation will be on Wednesday Jan. 17, 2018 at the Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 11 am until service time at 2 pm. Kerry's
Pastor and friend Bro. Houston Thomas pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbott Chapel Cemetery in Bridgeport. Pallbearers will be Kade Abbott, Benjamin Myers, Barry Cooper, Mike McCrary, Hugh (Tarzan) Randolph, Keith Foster.
