Catherine "Cathy" Beverly Acord, 60, of Lovingston passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia. She was born January 20, 1957 in Charlottesville a daughter of Elizabeth "Nita" Thompson Beverly and the late Richard Cupie Beverly.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John A. and Bessie M. Thompson and her uncle Arthur "Ozzie" Thompson.
Besides her mother she is survived by her husband, Michael "Mike" Acord and their sons and daughter-in-laws, Sam and Crystal Acord, Joey and Nickie Acord and Danny Acord; grandchildren Haley Acord, Skylar Grace Acord and Cameron Acord; her Aunt, Patricia Thompson Bazzle and cousin, Lora Ann Bazzle as well as her beloved fur babies, Roxie and Meiko.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Rock Spring United Methodist Church in Faber with Pastor John P. Campbell officiating.
