Vivian Victoire (Abadie) Huber, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2018 in Houston, Texas.
Vivian was born January 3, 1921 on Evergreen Plantation in Wallace, Louisiana to Ada and Amedee Abadie.
Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, five brothers, husband, Thomas L. Huber, Jr. and son, Michael T. Huber.
Vivian leaves behind her sons, Robert L. Huber (Colleen), Thomas L. Huber,III (Anne), Kirk J. Huber (Janet), Gregory J. Huber and Eric J. Huber, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated February 8, 2018, 10 AM , at St. Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker Street, League City, Texas 77573.
Catholic burial will follow at 3 PM at Orange Grove Cemetery in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vivians name to St. Mary of the Expectation Church, St. Dominic Village, 2401 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77021 or the charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at St. Dominic Village, for the excellent respite care given to Viv for the past few months following Hurricane Harvey and also Glynnis GG Glover for her outstanding help this past year.
Viv will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. That sweet smile will never be forgotten.
