Little Louis Edward, son of E. M. and Jennie Abbott, aged five and one-half years, died about three oclock Sunday morning, and was buried yesterday afternoon at 3 oclock from the residence of their parents home, corner Nineteenth and Jackson Streets. Little Louis was a very bright and intelligent boy of his age, and a universal favorite. He had had the scarlet fever, some weeks since, but had recovered. On Friday he took cold, which resulted in his speedy death. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. J. S. Rhea. The printers of the city attended the funeral so far as their duties in connection with the daily papers would permit; and the pallbearers were: Messrs. Joseph Skemp, Solon Hough, M. S. Hardie and Frank Kretschmer.
