Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mattie Leeper, who died Thursday afternoon m her home oir Grove street, were conducted this afternoon in the Gospel Defenders church by Rev. George Child, with interment following in the Arbor Vitae cemetery. j The deceased Is survived by three sons, John W. Leeper, and Edward G. Leeper of Madera and William A. Leeper of Hermit: one i daughter, Mrs. Vida O. Van Wie i of Oregon; 24 grandchildren; and three sisters and one brother in I Texas. Pallbearers were; M o Adames Florence Bounds, M. Leach. M. Lane, M. Sloan, C. Schlumbahn and E. Gladden.
