Betty J. Aaron, 85, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.

Betty was of the Church of God Faith. She loved to read, cook and take care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Aaron Jr., parents, Roger and Lena Ridings, siblings, Margaret Case, Nella Ruth and Jack Ridings.

Survivors include her loving husband, William Russell Aaron Sr., son, Jimmy (Teresa) Aaron, daughter, Brenda (Terry) Scates, both of Chattanooga, Tennessee, daughter, Sharon (Les) Williams of Ooltewah, Tennessee, grandchildren, Heather, Mandy, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kelly and Vance, 7 great- grandchildren, 1 great-great -grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Travis Rodgers officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
