Edna M. Abbott Jewell 85, of Campbellsburg, KY passed away on March 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1932 in Danville, KY to the late Clifford and Nannie Lister Abbott
She was a faithful member of Campbellsburg Baptist Church. Her main passion in life was for her family she enjoyed taking care of them, and spending time with them. She enjoyed traveling, and drinking coffee with her friends, and keeping up with her house. She was known most by her family for her love of the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
Edna leaves to mourn her passing her children: Jackie Brown of Fort Myers, FL, Jimmy Jewell and his wife Kim of Smithfield, KY, Joel Jewell and his wife Carolyn of Campbellsburg, KY; her brother, Clifford “Junie” Abbott of Louisville, KY; step-mother, Dora Abbott and half-sister, Gloria Jean Pittman both of Danville, KY; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many loving family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Walter Jewell who passed away on April 15, 2015 and her granddaughter Kelly Jewell who passed away on February 7, 2006.
