She was born on August 23, 1923.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edwards; her parents, Donnie Abernathy-McMillion and Eugene Fitzpatrick; her brothers, Arnell McMillion, Willie Henry McMillion, and Fletcher Branch; and her sisters, Fannie Mae Maxwell and Beatrice Abernathy.
She is survived by her sons, Chester Edwards and Willie Edwards; her grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
The funeral services will be held in Carmack Blvd Chruch of Christ. The burial services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia, TN.
