Lynn E. Aalgaard, age 65, of Red Wing, MN died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Lynn Elna Aalgaard, daughter of Allan & Gladys (Bany) Aalgaard was born on April 3, 1953 in Chicago, IL. She was baptized at Windsor Park Lutheran Church On May 31 and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Deephaven, MN in 1967. She graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1971 where she excelled in gymnastics and swimming. Lynn attended St. Cloud State University and participated on the gymnastics team.
She graduated with an RN from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Rochester, in 1974.

Lynn was united in marriage to Richard Berquam on April 5, 1975. They resided in the Sogn Valley area where they raised four daughters. They later divorced.

Lynn spent her later years in Red Wing, MN and worked at Red Wing Stoneware painting decals and glazing for over 15 years.

Lynn loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her generous, compassionate and loving heart.

She is survived by her mother, Gladys Aalgaard Olson of Eden Prairie, MN; her brother, Eric Aalgaard of Red Wing, MN; four daughters, Christine (and Eric) Johnson of Chaska, MN, Jennifer Berquam of Cannon Falls, MN, Katy (and Tyler) Vrieze of St. Paul, MN and Valerie (and Todd) Kohorst of Kenyon, MN; six grandchildren, Evan, Bobby and Blake Johnson, Leo and Evelyn Kohorst, Brooke Berquam-Sheehan; three nieces, Kelcey, Kirstin and Kaitlin Vogel.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Aalgaard, and sister, Cynthia Vogel.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Urland Lutheran Church, Cannon Falls, MN with the Reverend Andrew Yackel officiating. Visitation will be held 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Interment will follow at Urland Lutheran Church Cemetery.
