Shirley A. Robertson, age 80 of Monticello, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Robertson and parents, Euel and Irene Abbott. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rex Robertson, Monticello; daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Neil Young, Conyers; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Joan Robertson, Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Justin and Cathleen Young, Krista and Josh Laster; great-grandchildren, Faith Young, Harlee Laster, Luke Laster; brother, E.G. Abbott; and sisters, Anna Hynson, Vivian Robertson. Mrs. Robertson was a member of New Covenant Fellowship. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Pastor Mark George and Pastor Mark Barbour officiating.
