Following Mary's death, he married Christine Sivola on 1 August 1905 in Bessemer and they had: Leon C., Oscar A., Edwin M., Martha C., Andrew Benjamin,and Ralph D. Carl (Charles) Oscar died from arterio-sclerosis at the age of 80.
