Jerry Wayne Abnee, 70, husband of Lydia Vice Abnee, died July 2, 2018 at the UK Medical Center. Born July 24, 1947 in Carlisle, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Claude and Audrey Mitchell Abnee. Mr. Abnee was retired from Casual Living & Patio, enjoyed boating, and was an avid UK sports and Nascar fan. Survivors other than his wife include two children, Zoe Abnee and Jeffrey Abnee; half-sister, Catherine DeRossett; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, “Rocco”. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary "Tootsie" Bush, Wanda “C” Jefferson, and Dorothy Earlywine. Burial will be in Carlisle Cemetery, Nicholas County, Kentucky.
