Frances and George were married January 8, 1908 in Glen Ullin, ND. They raised 11 children on their farm west of Hazen, ND and sent them to school. Nine graduated from Hazen High School, Hazen, ND. Four of the children taught country schools in Mercer County, ND. The family moved to California in 1942.

George was born in 1880 in Northfield, MN to John and Margaret (Kelly) Gleason. He took a rural Hazen homestead in 1900 and farmed it for 42 years.

Frances was born in 1889 in Mandan, ND to Charles and Elizabeth (Moran) Dolan.

Their children are Gladys, Clarence, Leo, Vincent, Ruth, Frances (Noreen), Denis, Virgil (James), Doris, Teresa (Jeanette) and Thomas (Darrel).

Francis Gleason died in Bismarck, ND in 1961. Her husband George died in San Jose, CA, 1946.
