Jacqueline Malonek, 88, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2018 at Missions at Castle Rock in Green River, Wyoming. She was a resident of Green River for the past 20 years and is a former resident of Seal Beach, California.
She was born on October 9, 1929 in Laramie, Wyoming, the daughter of Jack W. Abbot and Jenny V. Mau.
Jackie attended schools in Laramie,Wyoming and was a 1949 graduate of the Jackson County High School in Waldon, Colorado. She also attended the University of Wyoming, she earned a Masters Degree in Education from the Arizona State University.
Jackie married Robert N. Malonek on May 2, 1958 in Green River, Wyoming, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2006 in Green River, Wyoming.
She worked as a teacher for 28 years in California.
Survivors include one daughter, Jenny S. Malonek of Alhambra, California, and one brother Jay Abbott of Green Valley, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and one son, William Todd Malonek.
Following cremation graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Riverview Cemetery, Green River, Wyoming.
