Funeral services for lifelong Dove Creek resident David Kaye Allen will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 at Dove Creek Methodist Church. Pastor Teresa Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery.

David was born November 28, 1923 in Idaho Springs, Colorado the son of Leslie Victor and Grace M. (Krout) Allen. He passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 94.

Surviving David are his children, Phyllis Snyder (Sidney) of Cortez, CO, Vicki Bailey of Huntsville, TX, Leslie Allen (Wilma) of Tonopah, NV and Jay Allen (Tamara) of Dove Creek, CO; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. David was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Hazel Kathleen (Buffington) Allen; his son-in-law, Mickey Michael Bailey; and his sister, Viola Sellard.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Pioneer Center or Dove Creek Methodist Church.
