STRICKEN BY DEATH Mrs. Peter Ackert, Well Known Here, Passes Away.
Mrs. Peter Ackert passed away at the home of her son, William McLain, Monday morning of heart trouble, after an lingering illness. The deceased had lived in this vicinity for a number of years and during her life had made a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was 77 years of age at the time of her death and is survived by three children, William Ackert of Oakland county, Frank Ackert and Mrs. William McLain of this city. She was a member of the W. C. T U. and Methodist church and during life lived a devout christian life. The funeral was held from the home of William McLain Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Quinton Walker, officiating.
