He passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at his residence.
He was born August 13, 1932, in Washburn, TN, to the late Ethan Allen Acuff and Montana Nicely Acuff. On March 4, 1953, he was married to Peggy Acuff, who survives. They were married for over 65 years. He was an insurance investigator, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Ward Beecher Acuff and Anthony Wayne Acuff; and 1 Infant Brother.
Survivors include his Wife: Peggy Acuff of Granville, TN; 1 Son: Albert Galon Acuff of IL; 1 Daughter: TracyLynn Acuff of FL; and 7 Grandchildren: Anthony, Crystal, Regina, Cole, Corey, Kaija, and Caleb.
Bro. Randy Heady will officiate at the services.
