Bersheeba Eavens was born at Ashridge, Brown Co., Ohio, Feb. 8, 1826, and died at her home in Macksburg, April 1, 1902, aged 76 years. She lived with her parents until Nov. 14, 1847, when she united in marriage to E.A. Pindell. In 1854 they moved to Madison County and lived here for six years. They then went back to Brown County. They again moved to Madison County in 1869. In 1882 she was bereaved of her husband. Mrs. Pindell was the mother of two children, one daughter, Fannie, wife of J.S. Abbott, and James M. Pindell, both of Macksburg. The remains were laid in the Moon Cemetery.
