Harold M. Abbott 85, of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007. He was born March 9, 1922 in Crawfordsville, IN to the late Gladys and Aben Abbott. He was a retired contract negotiator for the accounting department for the Allison Division of General Motors for 44 years. His wife Bernice Lenore Abbott preceded him in death.

He is survived by brother, Stanley R. Abbott; sister, Margery Manges; two nephews, Jerry A. Abbott and Meredith Manges and one niece, Melanie Manges. He was a member of Darlington Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Speedway Christian Church. He attended Wabash College for two years.

In 1987 Harold and his late wife joined the Hoosier Mini Mizers and became well known for their dollhouse miniatures. They received many awards in competitions. Most of their creations have been donated to The Museum of Miniature Houses in Carmel. He and his wife as volunteers at the museum were awarded a STAR Certificate of Excellence by the Hamilton County Conventions and Visitors Bureau.

Services were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan Funeral Center - Speedway Chapel of Indianapolis, Indiana.
