Mrs. Marie H. Jenkins, 61, of 3407 Cottage Grove Ave., died Sunday night at Iowa Methodist Hospital following several months' illness. Born at Schaller, she had lived in Des Moines 16 years and prior to that, in Sioux City for 8 years. She attended Grinnell College.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn's Funeral Home with graveside services at Schaller at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include daughters, Shirley, at home; Mrs L.N. Anderson, Sioux City; Mrs J.R. Niles, Placeville, Cal.; Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson and Mrs. Walter M. Leniton, Des Moines; son R.T. Jenkins, Waterloo, and 18 grandchildren.
