Frances M. Abbott, 88, of 19 Cypress Point died Friday, June 20, 2003, at her home.
Born Feb. 25, 1915, in Washburn to Clarence and Clara Harper Jury, she married Norman Clare Abbott on July 13, 1937, in Peoria. He died March 17, 1987, in Pekin.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Kaye (and Anthony) Cook of Berwyn, Pa., and Claire (and Ron) Maquet of Pekin; and one sister, Velda Garrett of East Peoria.
She had worked for Caterpillar Inc. and later worked for the Tazewell County Clerk's Office during the 1950s and 1960s.
Private burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
