Bunie Craig, 88, of Flintstone passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at a local health care facility from injuries sustained in automobile accident.

She was a native of Ellijay, GA and had lived most of her life in the Flintstone area. Bunie worked at Peerless Woolen Mills, Rossville Yarns, and Standard Coosa Thatcher throughout the years. She loved helping others, and her passions in life were enjoying her flowers, working in the garden, and going to flea markets. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Craig; three sons, Windle, Fredie, and Ronnie Craig; and parents, Wade and Lillie Collis.

Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia Craig of Leesburg, AL; sister, Ella Mae Reese of Jasper, GA; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Edwin Prescott officiating.
Interment will be in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
