SCRANTON-Lavon Wyatt, 59, Scranton, died Wed., Nov. 24, 1993, at her home. She was born March 21, 1934, at Mont, Ida. one of triplets with two surviving brothers of Russell and Mable Vanatta Abernathy. She grew up at Mon Ida and graduated from Welda High School. She was married to Virgil W. Wyatt April 15, 1954, at Garnett. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Barbara Keil, Topeka; a son, Steven Wyatt, Emporia; two brothers, Russell Dale Abernathy, Welda, and Charles Don Abernathy, El Dorado; and two grandchildren. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Scranton United Methodist Church. Cremation was planned. Inurnment was in Scranton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 1272 S.W. Filmore, Topeka, 66604-1167; or Scranton United Methodist Church, Scranton, 66537. Carey Funeral Home of Burlingame was in charge of arrangements.
