HUGOTON – Wayne L. Wulfemeyer, 74, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at his residence.
He was born July 26, 1944 to Leslie Wulfemeyer and Arleen (Muller) Wulfemeyer in Hugoton.
He grew up on a family farm in Stevens County and graduated from Moscow High School.
He taught welding at Hugoton High School for a few years and later started his own business, Hugoton Custom Works, building hot rod cars.
Survivors include sister, nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Carol Adams, Linda Novak.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with Pastor Tim Singer presiding.
Burial will take place at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019 and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.
