Christian and Annie Sorenson were the parents of Olive and Roy O. Sorenson.

Mrs. C. G. Sorensen died suddenly Monday forenoon, shortly after a stroke. After the stroke, Mr. Sorensen went to the depot to telegraph relatives and while he was gone she passed away. With her were her daughter, Mrs. Francis Mesigh and Mr. Mesigh.
Anna Abramson was born in Sweden, coming to this country at the age of three, with her parents. She just recently passed her 54th birthday anniversary. Twenty-five years ago, she and Mr. Sorensen were married at Sioux City, Iowa. Both had been married before and each had a small son, now grown to manhood. Her son, Roy O'Brien, works on a farm in Michigan, North Dakota, and his son, Clarence, is a stenographer for a packing plant in Omaha, Nebr. For several years the Sorensens lived in Nebraska. Three years were spent in Atchison and over two years in Effingham, where Mr. Sorensen owns and operates a blacksmith shop.
Funeral services will be held at the home; interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Pallbearers were James Hall, Frank Mesigh, Wm Henderson, Rufus Chrisp, Henry Buddenbohm and W. S. Heffelfinger.
