Lonnie Adams, Jr. age 84, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019. He was born in McMinnville, Tennessee Tuesday, December 25, 1934 and is preceded in death by his parents, Etta Winnett and Lonnie Adams; his is also preceded in death by this wife, Mary Francis Tupper Adams; sister, Evelyn Josephine Harwell; brothers, Clyde Edward Adams, Bryson Lee Adams and Earl Thomas Adams.

Mr. Adams served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War; was presented the Challenge Coin from Sgt. Maj. Ronald L. Green while in Washington, DC; he was an electrical technician for Allied Sound. The things he enjoyed doing was studying the Bible; reading, inventing and family time.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jean Adams; sisters, Joyce Wilburn, Glenda Faye Walker; grandson, David Phillip Stephens; great-granddaughters, Ashley Victoria Stephens and Brianna Leigh Jones.

A celebration of life will be conducted in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
