Theresa Violet "Terry" Chase Reynolds, 80, of Valley Road, Mountain Home Park, Brattleboro, VT, died Tuesday morning, July 5, 2005, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Brattleboro, VT on April 2, 1925, the daughter of Edward and Violet (Bills) Beaudry. She was raised and educated in Brattleboro later moving to Hartford, where for many years she was employed for the Royal Typewriter Company in Hartford. In 1965 she moved back to Brattleboro later working as a binder for the former Book Press on Putney Road retiring in 1987. Mrs. Reynolds was a devout Catholic and a communicant of Saint Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Brattleboro. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and hunting, and time shared with her family. She had great love for her pet dog and companion of 16 years, "Cocoa." A friend to many, she was loved and admired by all and will be greatly missed. On July 28, 1974 in Brattleboro she was married to Edward J. Reynolds who died in 1987. Survivors include a stepson, Edward L. "Spunky" Reynolds of Guilford, VT; four sisters, Kathleen Slate and Bernice Hogan, both of Sarasota, FL, Betty Gould of Bristol, and Patricia Fowler of Brattleboro; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 2 p.m. at Saint Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Walnut Street. Burial and committal Rites will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Newfane.
