John Hickman, not to be confused with the banjo player, was a singer, songwriter and retired engineer. Some of his creative influences were The Beatles, Coldplay, Styx, Rush and the late David Bowie. Some of his songs include "Hello Hello", "Cascade", "Remnants of the Human Race", and "That's Life".

Hickman died from an undisclosed cause in November of 2018. His final album, "Welcome to the Show", was finished before his death and was released posthumously on what would have been his 60th birthday.
