She was born February 16, 1941, in Rowena, KY, the daughter of Orley F. and Sytha E. (Beck) Weston. She married Billy Eugene Stockton in Ringgold, GA on September 13, 1958. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie (David) Dukes of Versailles, KY and Donna (Thomas) Spear of Hoopeston, IL; one brother, Barry (Carma) Weston of Louisville, KY; one sister-in-law, Mary Weston of Monticello, KY; 5 grandchildren, Ellen Dukes, Molly Dukes, Zachary Spear, Lance (Christine) Spear, and Spencer (Rashelle) Spear; three great-grandchildren, Stratton Thomas Spear, Jack Valor Spear, and Sytha Louise Spear; and 7 nieces and nephews, Linda (Terry) Cross, Dora Jean Griffin, Russell (Cathy) Stockton, Patsy (Jimmy) Sexton, Vickie Weston, Terry Weston, and Yvette (Brad) Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Glenn Weston, Jimmie Weston, and Carl Weston; one brother-in-law, John H. Stockton; and one sister-in-law, Mona Nell Stockton.
Brenda was a stay at home wife and mother, caring for her family. She later worked at Howard’s, Schumacher Electric, and The Bakery. She attended the Hoopeston First Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting. Brenda also enjoyed making crafts, taking walks, and spending time with her family.
