MILLER, MRS. OPAL , age 82, of Troy (formerly of Hayden, Ala.) died Friday, February 3, 1995. She was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church (Troy, Alabama). Funeral service at Messmer Funeral Home Chapel (Warrior, Alabama) will be Sunday, February 5, 1995 @ 2:00 P.M. with Dr. Sammie Reid officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery (Gardendale, Alabama). Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Sara Jones of Troy; sister, Mrs. Ruby Scott of Blueridge, Ga.; brothers, Howard Abbott of Youngstown, Fla., Carl Abbott of Oxford; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Remains will be ready for viewing on Saturday at 5:00 P.M. Messmer Funeral Home (647-0253) is directing.
