Surviving are her sisters, Hazel Wells, Jacksonville, Ethel Lister, Tucker, Ruby Wells, Butler, Anita Mitchell, Conyers, Sequel Hadaway, Snellville, Alice Frix, Lawrenceville, Joy Murphy, Lithonia; brothers, Hubert Abbott, Conyers, Jay Abbott, Savannah, Tom Abbott, Lithonia; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday, May 27, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
