Mrs. Mary Alice Saylor, 88, of Crab Orchard, died at 11:45 p. m. Friday at the Garrard County Memorial Hospital after a two-year illness. She was a native of Bell County and a member of the Watts Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors are three sons, R. L. (Bob) Saylor, Crab Orchard; W. P. Saylor, Orleans, Ind., and Hezzie Saylor, Cincinnati; two daughters. Mrs. Chesney Rob bins, and Mrs. Margaret Howard, Crab Orchard; two brothers, Ray Slusher, Big Creek, and Morgan Slusher, Barbourville; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted at 2 p. m. Monday at the Watts Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. W. A. Clutts. Burial was in the Gillis Saylor Family Cemetery. Bearers were grandsons. Arrangements were handled by Howard Funeral Home.
