Thomas Clell Abdoo, age 67, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed from this life at the University of Kentucky Medical Center of Lexington, Kentucky on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. He spent his career in the communications industry, having owned and operated movie, theater and radio stations.

Mr. Abdoo was born on November 4, 1951 at Neon, Kentucky to the late Frank Jerry and Lily “Jennie” Cury Abdoo. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Eddy Abdoo and Frank Abdoo; and by one sister, Martha Abdoo Hubbard.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Jamilia Abdoo of Lexington, Kentucky; one son, Thomas Ray Abdoo (April Dawn) of Hamilton, Virginia; one brother, Lloyd D. Abdoo (Teresa) of Carrollton, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Jordan Ray, Aaliyah Renee and Lily Rudell; one niece, Jennie Ann Bowling (Quinn) of Jenkins, Kentucky; two nephews: Jonathan Lloyd Abdoo and Steven Frank Abdoo, both of Carrollton, Kentucky; along with a host of other family and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Carty Funeral Home of Neon, Kentucky on Friday, August 8, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Neon First Church of God with Pastor Mark Wagoner and Bishop Willie Lamb officiating.

Interment will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery of Ermine, Kentucky.
