" Theo Adcox Service Held
Doris Theo Adcox, 68, died Wednesday, May 3 at her home, 520 West Main Street, after an extended illness.
Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Hohenwald Church of Christ. B. B. James and King McCarver, ministers of the Church of Christ, conducted the service. Burial was in the Swiss Cemetery. McDonald Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Adcox was a native of Lawrence County, a daughter of the late George A. and Amanda Stone Lester. she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Murray Adcox in December, 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Ann Cherry of Hohenwald; two sons, David Murray Adcox of Hohenwald, James Murray Adcox II of Jonesboro, Arkansas; a sister, Imogene Hinson of Hohenwald; two brothers, W. H. Lester of Hohenwald, G. C. Lester of Hendersonville; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild."
