William Earl “Bill” Suchta, 64, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in Ponderay, Idaho. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint.
Bill was born on September 15, 1948 in Salem, Oregon to Junior “Raymond” and Ethel Suchta. He grew up and attended schools in Sheridan, WY, and later enlisted in the United States Army. Bill married twice, first to Gloria Lewis and blessed with a son, William “Billy” Jr. He later married Patricia Nesmith in 1972 in Las Vegas and they were blessed with a daughter, Tiffany Joy. He worked for Coca-Cola in Colorado Springs and Santa Ana, CA as a warehouse supervisor.
He moved to Sandpoint, ID in 2000. Bill enjoyed playing in cribbage tournaments, classic cars, and collecting coins. Bill loved his cowboy boots and cowboy hats.
He is survived by his mother Ethel Abraham of Ponderay, ID; two children Billy of Ponderay, ID and Tiffany of Spanish Fork, UT; one grandson Derrick; one great granddaughter; three sisters Vicky (Ron) Elisalda of Cherry Valley, CA, Ann (Cliff) Brown of Moreno Valley, CA, and Rusty (Mike) McKitrick of Sagle, ID; two brothers Ray (Raeanna) Suchta of Phoenix, AZ and Robert (Ann) Wootton of Renton, WA; special friend Rob Clayburn of Sandpoint; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Raymond, two step-fathers Ken Bartlett and Bud Abraham, wife Patricia, and brother Ken Bartlett, Jr.
