Lula “Lou” Mae Carey Abramson, age 75, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Jimmy Carey and Joe Abramson; son, David Lamm and daughter; Ellen Woodard.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the cemetery of People’s Chapel, Elm City.

She is survived by daughter, Lori Coley of Wilson; sister, Louise Sherrod of Kenly; grandchildren, Melissa Ann Coley, Noah Vick, Rebekah Carey, Keyanne Blalock; three great-grandchildren.
