Mrs. R.R. Ackiss
Mrs. R.R. Ackiss, 27 years of age, died Sunday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. (Dick) Oxford, near Concord. Mrs. Ackiss was a member of the Baptist church and was one of her communities most pleasing personalities and was well loved by her many acquaintances. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ackiss Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the residence of her parents with her pastor, Rev. T.J. Espy officiating. Interment occurred in Hebron cemetery with R.F. Strickland Co. in charge of arrangements. Besides her husband, Mrs. Ackiss is survived by one small daughter and two small sons; her father and mother; three sisters, Mrs. C.I. Porter and Mrs. J.G. Cannafax, of Zebulon; Mrs. Dan Griffin, of Concord; one brother, Mr. Hardy Oxford.
