He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ethel Abdon and his sister, Phyllis Hiatt. He is survived by his wife, Sue Massey Abdon and children, Karen Jones, Kevin Abdon, Thomas Abdon II, Aaron Abdon, Suzanne Perkins, Joshua Abdon, Leah Scothorn, Paul Abdon, Jacob Abdon, Ethan Abdon and Timothy Abdon; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Petersburg Christian Church from 11-12am on Thursday, Nov 21, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Petersburg Cemetery in Petersburg.
