Ella is the daughter of Lt. Charles Duncan Sackett (1840-1927) and Mary Ann Gordon (1842-1918). She married Charles Henry Harris (1869-1962), and they had ten children, nine of whom are listed in her obituary. The tenth is Charles Thomas Harris (1908-1956).

Sister Of Local Resident Dies

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 24 in Seattle for Mrs. Ella Harris, a sister of Bertha Amundson of Kalispell. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Harris was born April 1880, in Greenfield, Iowa, and came to Montana as a young girl and continued to live in the state until moving to Seattle in 1943.

Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Eileen Dodd of Somcrs and Mrs. Marion Rowland, Mrs. Edythe Ferguson and Mrs. Peggy Kirwan, all of Seattle; four sons, Ralph and Arthur of Malta, Henry of Tacoma and Wilbur of Seattle; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
