Grace Louise Winn Aaron, 85, of Natchitoches, Louisiana entered into eternal heavenly rest on January 14, 2017.

Grace was born on July 19, 1931 in Marthaville, Louisiana to the late Alvin Edgar Winn and Mable Ruth Brock Gibson. Grace was married for 59 years to the love of her life, Francis Ray Aaron. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, faithful friend and a most wonderful Christian role model. She was the most kind and caring person we have ever known. Grace spent her life in service to her family.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Ray Aaron, her infant son John Francis Aaron, her parents Alvin Edgar Winn and Mable Ruth Brock Gibson, her step-father Walt Gibson, her sister Virginia Winn Watkins and her brother-in-law Gerald David Watkins.
She is survived by her children Tonya Ruth Aaron Martin and her husband, Clyde “Butch”; Stanley Ray Aaron and his wife, Vickie; Kenneth Wayne Aaron and his wife, Charlotte; Kim Margaret Aaron Frye and her husband, Steve; and Emily Louise Aaron Greene and her husband, Hunter. Also, fourteen grandchildren, Scott and his wife, Amanda Martin; Michael and his wife, Marina Martin; Stan, Kyle and Alex Aaron; Ryan, Adam, and Luke Aaron; Allison, Brad, and Hannah Frye; and Ashley, Matthew, and Lauren Greene. Also, one great grandchild and namesake, Anna Grace Martin.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in the Fellowship Hall. Followed by a Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. celebrated in the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hospice team, especially, Trenice, from North Oaks in Hammond for their gentle care for our dear mother and grandmother.

John 11:25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet he shall live.
