MRS. WILL C. RUEGNITZ

Funeral for Mrs. Will C. (Jessie) Ruegnitz, 7660 SW Brentwood St., will be at 10 a.m. Monday at J. P. Finley & Son Mortuary. Cremation will follow at Portland Memorial.

Mrs. Ruegnitz died Friday in a Beaverton nursing home. She was 89.

She was born in Milton, Ont., in December, 1880. She came to Portland and was graduated from the Good Samaritan Nursing School, then lived several years in Hong Kong and Baguio, Philippines before returning to Portland.

She was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire and was active during World War II in services for United States and British servicemen. She received a citation for this work from the British government.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Don (Betsy) Aase, Newport, and Mrs. Walter R. (Mary Louise) Munroe, Portland; a sister, Mrs. R. R. Cooke, Estacada and a grandson.
