Mavolene D. "Mame" McMahon, 93, a loving mother and "Mimi" passed away on November 20, 2015. She was born on January 17, 1922 in Collinsville, Texas. She resided in Dallas, Texas for over seventy years. Mame loved to entertain, enjoyed cooking, gardening, played Bridge and watch sports, especially the Dallas Mavericks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Bill McMahon, and two brothers, Carl and Doug Davis and two sisters, Dixie Gryska and Florence Louise Davis, and a brother-in-law Dick McMahon. Mame is survived by two daughters, Amy and Rob Pipkin of Carrollton, Texas and Diane and Steve Spencer of Palm City, Florida; seven grandchildren: Camran (Jayson) Patrono, Sawyer and Evan Pipkin, Ross (Carolyn), Taylor, Preston and Colton Spencer; two great grandsons, Holden Snider and Gannon Patrono; two sisters, Freta Van Meter and Glenna Ackerman; one brother, Mack (Shirley) Davis; two sister-in-laws, Nell McMahon and Carolyn Davis, along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Prestonwood Rehab and Nursing Center for the compassionate and loving care they always provided Mavolene in her last four years. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will take place at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Restland Memorial Park, Whispering Waters Garden.
