Henry N. Aamodt, 69, of Hubbard, died Feb. 5 at his home.

He was born Dec. 30, 1916, at Mist, Ore., to Martin and Caroline Magnussen Aamodt and came to the Hubbard area in 1932. He was a dairy farmer. He was married to Viola Christina Erickson on June 17, 1950, in San Francisco. He was a member of the Zoar Lutheran Church and a board member of the Portland Independent Milk Producers.

Surviving are his wife, Viola of Hubbard; two sons, Douglas Henry Aamodt and Stephen John Aamodt, both of Hubbard; one daughter, Norma Kathryn Aamodt-Nelson of Olin, Iowa; two brothers, Edwin and Lars Aamodt, both of Hubbard; one sister, Marie Aamodt of

Colton. One brother, Lauritz Aamodt and one sister, Anna Stegen, both preceded him in death. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Zoar Lutheran Church or to the American Heart Association.

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at the Zoar Lutheran Church at Canby, with the Rev. Norman Prestbye officiating. Interment followed at the Zoar Lutheran Cemetery east of Canby. Everhart and Kent Funeral Home in Canby was in care of arrangements.
