A graveside service for Joseph L. "Bo" Aarons of Enterprise, LA will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 1 pm at the Rosefield Cemetery.

Bo was born August 7, 1948 and passed from this life Friday, December 6, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. Bo was a lifelong resident of Catahoula Parish and a member of Crossway Family Worship.

Bo enlisted in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War where he was wounded three times in battle, for which he was awarded three Purple Hearts. After returning home from wartime, Bo began a career working in production at Freeport-Sulphur until he retired in 1998. During this time he served two years in the Louisiana National Guard. After his retirement from Freeport-Sulphur, he began working with the United States Army Corp of Engineers building and repairing roads and levees. Most recently, Bo was successfully elected as Ward 3 Police Juror in Catahoula Parish.

Bo is preceded in death by his son Charles Sterling "Scooter" Aarons, parents J. C. and Faye Aarons, brother Craig Aarons, sister Brenda Tullos, niece Priscilla Drane, grandson Joseph Taylor Reeves, and nephew Dwayne Tullos. Very shortly after Bo's death, his wife of 46 years, Charlotte Ruth Stutson Aarons, passed away as well.

Those left to cherish his memories are daughters Ann Reeves with husband Gary of Hico, Texas, Rayelyn Parker with husband Stacy of New Iberia, LA, and Pamela Patten of Harrisonburg, LA, sister Joyce Aarons, sister Lilly Book, and brother Danny Aarons. Bo's hunting, fishing, fence-building, hanging-out-together buddies include 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cole Reeves, Garrett' Reeves, Jacob Parker, Caleb Patten, Joshua Patten, and Danielle Tullos.

Honorary pallbearers are Jonah Parker, Gerald Tullos, Sam Mason, Ray and Pam Lea, Sheriff Kenneth Headrick, Judson Drane, and Shane Townsend.
