July 21, 1962 - December 21, 2019 Dennis Charles "Goat" Abner, age 57, formerly of Buckhorn, KY passed away on December 21, 2019 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY. Goat was a retired logger, member of the United States National Guard and a member of Rock Bottom Church.
Dennis was born on July 21, 1962 to the late Charlie Abner and the late Hazel Susan Rice Abner. He is also preceded in death by one son: Jeremy Charles Abner; one daughter: Jessica Susanna Abner and one brother: John Abner.
He leaves surviving his wife: Pouleine Roberts Abner; one daughter: Jennifer Evelyn Lonaker of Booneville, KY; five sisters: Geraldine Abner of Buckhorn, KY, Anne Collins of Buckhorn, KY, Glenda Smith of Ohio, Marlene Stokely of Buckhorn, KY & Nancy Baker of Buckhorn, KY; six brothers: Benny Abner of Buckhorn, KY, Robert Abner of Buckhorn, KY, Tolbert Abner of Buckhorn, KY, Elisha Abner of Buckhorn, KY, William Abner of London, KY & Culley Abner of Buckhorn, KY; four grandchildren: J.W., Novella, Joshua & Natalee as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
