It is with great sadness that the family of William Joseph Aaron Sr. announces his passing on December 23, 2019 at the age of 72.

A New Orleans native, William graduated from Booker T. Washington Senior High School and attended Xavier University.

He was a specialist five in the United States Army, served in the Vietnam war and was awarded several medals during that time. After an honorable discharge from the Army, William began a career at Union Carbide where he worked for over 40 years as a Health and Safety Specialist.

William leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and adored son William "Billy" J. Aaron, Jr. (Lynette) and beloved granddaughters Cameryn Bria Aaron and Cree Boyd; devoted siblings Honoré Foucha (Ernest), Linda Roy (Michael), Floyd Aaron (Gloria), Cedric Aaron, and Tyrone Aaron; loving father in law Lawrence Fizer Sr., Sister in law Terri F. Singleton, Brothers in law Willard Fizer and Lawrence Fizer, Jr. (Diana); He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

William was proceeded in death by his loving parents Lucille Wilson Aaron and Floyd Aaron Sr., siblings Leonard Aaron, Thomas Aaron, Ruby Aaron and Gwendolyn Rollins (Howard) and his wife of 47 years Dianne Fizer Aaron.
