LYNN--James A. Abbott, 58 years old, who lived near Carlos, died Thursday night. He was a native of Pennsylvania.
Survivors include the widow, Josephine; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Engle of near Lynn, Mrs. Joan Engle of near Carlos, and Mrs. Juanita Davis of Centerville; three sons, James, Jr. of Richmond, Norman of near Lynn, and Alfred, in the Marine Corps; one stepson, Charles Stover, in the Navy and stationed in Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Alfred Abbott of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Smith of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Matilda Zimmerman of Richmond.
Services for Mr. Abbott will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bloomingport Friends Church in charge of Rev. Philip Johnson. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester. Friends may call at the Thomas Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. Sunday and at the church an hour before the services.
