Lyndell, age 90, was the son of Orval S. and Hilma M. (Swenson) Aadalen. He served in the US Air Force in Japan during the Korean War. He married Judi Horner about 1971. He graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Elementary Education and a masters degree in counseling. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and his brother, Arlie Aadalen. Survivors include his daughters, Jill Harrison, Amy Thomas, and Marci Mattox, his sister, Ardus Berkley, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life was held at Christ Community Covenant Church in Arvada. Graveside services were held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge.
