Abbott, Emily M., 89, of Clearwater, died Friday (Aug. 17, 2001) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. She was born in Martin, Tenn. and came here in 1983 from Mount Dora,
She was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress, She played the organ and enjoyed her rose garden, bicycling, fishing and swimming.
Survivors include a sister, Louise McCormick, Clearwater, three granddaughters, Eliza Reed, Clearwater, Cassandra DeGraff, Key West, and Jennifer Picinich, Boca Raton; and eight great grandchildren. Sylvan Abbey Funeral home, Clearwater.
